While new to building instruments, I have been playing acoustic and electric guitar for many years. Since the mid 70's, I have done most all repair, modification, and set up's for my own instruments. The past ten years have been focused mainly on acoustic music and instruments. I have had the good fortune to meet many fine players and luthiers along the way. Each sharing a bit of wisdom that has helped me to move into building the musical instruments you will find here.

At the 37th annual Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, our Octave Mandolin found it's way into the hands of some of the finest acoustic musicians out there.
